Legal Agreement & Location Services
Location services must be enabled so we can generate AI-monitored safety alerts for your specific city, give accurate local recommendations, and power emergency SOS functionality. Without location access, some features may be limited or inaccurate.
AllHerTravel provides AI-generated and community-sourced safety information for informational purposes only. Always trust your instincts. In a life-threatening emergency, call local emergency services immediately. AllHerTravel is not liable for decisions made based on app content.
Your location data is used solely to deliver relevant local content and is never sold to third parties. By continuing, you agree to our Terms of Service, Safety Policy, and Privacy Policy.

AllHerTravel is built around one goal: helping women travel with more confidence and backup. This Safety Policy explains how our in-app safety features work, how we moderate the community, and how to report a safety concern. It works alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, not in place of them.
SOS: a one-tap emergency alert that sends your approximate location to your saved emergency contacts.
Safety Timer: a check-in timer — if you don't check in before it runs out, your emergency contacts are automatically alerted with your last known location.
Live location sharing: lets you share your real-time location with a trusted contact for a set window of time.
Safety alerts & City Safety Score: area-specific warnings for your current or destination city, generated and refreshed by our AI from current web and news sources, alongside genuine reports submitted by other travelers when available.
AI Safety Assistant: an always-free chat assistant scoped to travel-safety questions — local risks, emergency numbers, scam awareness, and precautions.
Safety alerts, SOS, the Safety Timer, live location sharing, and emergency contacts are free for every user on every plan — always.
Every safety feature above depends on things outside our control — your device's location and notification permissions, internet or cell connectivity, and whether your emergency contact sees an alert in time. They're designed to help, but they are not a guarantee of your safety and are not a replacement for your own judgment or for local emergency services. If you are ever in immediate danger, contact local emergency services (such as 911, 112, or your local equivalent) first, before or instead of relying on the app.
Most safety alerts and area warnings you see are generated and kept current by our AI from live web and news sources for your specific city, and are labeled "AI-monitored" accordingly. Any user can also submit an alert or area warning directly, and these are labeled with a severity level and how many other travelers have verified them. Either way, treat this information as a helpful signal, not a verified fact, and always cross-check anything safety-critical against official or local sources.
We have zero tolerance for harassment, threats, hate speech, impersonation, false safety reports or SOS alerts, and any content or behavior that puts another user at risk. Every community post, safety alert, traveler profile, and message has a Report or Block option built in. Reports go to our moderation queue, where our team reviews the content and reported user's history and can hide the content, remove it entirely, or suspend or ban the account — separately from anything a court or law enforcement might do. Blocking someone immediately stops them from seeing your posts, alerts, or profile, and prevents them from messaging you, with no notification sent to them.
To report content or a user, use the Report or Block option next to that post, alert, profile, or message. For anything urgent or involving a real-world safety risk, email us directly at safety@allhertravel.com — we prioritize these reports. Again: if you're in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
Emergency contacts, location, and report details you provide are used only to power these safety features and to review reports — see our Privacy Policy for the full detail on what we collect and how it's protected.
We may update this Safety Policy as we add or change safety features. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes, we'll provide additional notice in the app.
